Before treatment
Tell the provider about all medical conditions, allergies, medications and supplements, prior injection reactions, and whether you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Possible reactions and urgent symptoms
Reactions may include injection-site irritation, nausea, headache, flushing, abdominal discomfort, fatigue, or chills. FDA has received reports of severe chills, shaking, vomiting, and fatigue after some NAD+ injectable products. Stop use and contact your provider about a significant or worsening reaction.
When to seek emergency care
Seek urgent medical care for trouble breathing, facial or throat swelling, fainting, chest pain, severe vomiting, intense shaking or chills, or rapidly worsening symptoms. Portal messaging is not for emergencies.
Storage, sterile handling, and disposal
Do not share the medication or change the prescribed use. Follow the pharmacy label for storage, sterile handling, beyond-use date, and sharps disposal. A sharps container is not supplied. Keep medication and supplies away from children.
