An RDT is designed to dissolve in the mouth. Your pharmacy label explains exactly how to take your prescription.
Is 20 mg a daily dose?
No daily schedule is implied by the tablet strength. Your provider determines the appropriate amount, timing and frequency. Follow your prescription label; do not split tablets or change your dose unless directed.

Medicines to avoid
Never use with nitrate medicines, recreational “poppers,” or riociguat. These combinations can dangerously lower blood pressure. Do not combine with another tadalafil product, sildenafil, PT-141 Combo or other erectile-dysfunction treatments unless your prescriber directs it.
Before treatment
Tell your provider about all medicines and supplements, allergies, heart or blood-pressure conditions, kidney or liver problems, eye or hearing conditions, blood disorders, penile curvature, or previous prolonged erections. Alpha blockers, blood-pressure medicines, some other medicines and heavy alcohol use can increase risks. Sexual activity may be unsuitable with certain heart conditions.
Possible side effects
Headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, nasal congestion and flushing can occur. Contact your provider about persistent or troublesome effects.
Urgent symptoms
Seek immediate medical attention for an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision or hearing loss, chest pain, fainting, or a severe allergic reaction. Tell emergency clinicians when you last used tadalafil.
